EXPANDING MEDICAID

Jay Chaudhuri will take on Republicans who refuse to expand Medicaid. He believes we have a moral duty to provide access to affordable health coverage to all low-income families. In the Senate, he will lead the fight to ensure more working North Carolinians are covered by President Obama's Affordable Care Act and have access to basic healthcare coverage.

FIGHTING DISCRIMINATION

Jay Chaudhuri believes it is wrong that North Carolina law allows an employer to fire an employee just because they're gay. He will stand up to the religious right and fight to pass legislation to protect gays and lesbians from discrimination.
